Consent

This site uses Google Consent Mode v2 with region-specific consent defaults. Analytics storage is resolved in this order:

  1. Your explicit choice. If you click Accept or Decline in the consent banner, that stored choice is honored on subsequent visits in every region until you change it via the “cookie preferences” link in the footer.
  2. Global Privacy Control (GPC). If you have not made an explicit choice and your browser sends the GPC signal, analytics storage is denied.
  3. Regional default. If you have not made an explicit choice and GPC is not present, your region (determined by IP address) decides:
    • EU/EEA, UK, Switzerland, Brazil, Quebec, South Korea, Thailand, Turkey, and South Africa: denied, and a consent banner is shown so you can choose to accept or decline.
    • All other regions: granted, and no consent banner is shown.

If your region cannot be determined reliably, analytics storage defaults to denied and the consent banner is shown.

Your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage and remembered on future visits, including if you travel between regions. You can change your preference at any time by clicking “cookie preferences” in the footer, which reopens the consent banner so you can accept or decline analytics cookies.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics. Ad storage, ad user data, and ad personalization are always denied. This site does not use Google advertising features, Google Signals, or ad personalization.

While analytics storage is denied, Google may receive cookieless pings but analytics cookies are not set. When analytics storage is granted, Google Analytics may use cookies to distinguish unique users and sessions and collect standard analytics data such as page views, referring sites, and general geographic location.

You can opt out of Google Analytics entirely by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Cookies

This site uses the following cookies:

  • country: A server-set cookie containing your two-letter country code, determined by IP address. Used to decide whether the consent banner is shown. It is not sent to any third party.
  • region: A server-set cookie containing your subdivision code (e.g., province or state), determined by IP address. Used alongside the country cookie to decide whether the consent banner is shown in regions where consent is required at the sub-country level (e.g., Quebec). It is not sent to any third party.
  • Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*): Used to distinguish unique users and sessions. Only set when analytics storage is granted. If you decline analytics cookies or later withdraw consent, previously set Google Analytics cookies are deleted from your browser.
  • Cookie consent preference: Your accept/decline choice is stored in your browser’s local storage (not a cookie) so it can be remembered on future visits. You can update your choice at any time via the “cookie preferences” link in the footer.

No cookies are used for advertising or personalization.

Data Collection

This site does not collect personal information such as names, email addresses, or account credentials. There are no forms, accounts, or user-generated content on this site.
